Saleyards Road Parkes Hazard Reduction

Summary
Over the weekend the NSW RFS with assistance from FRNSW and NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service conducted two Hazard Reduction Burns across the Mid Lachlan Valley.
The first being located east of Grenfell along Major West Road Bumbaldry and the second near Saleyards Road Parkes. These burns will help to reduce the risk to properties within the surrounding areas.
Thanks to a number of brigades across the Mid Lachlan Valley including Brundah, Forbes Central, Greenethorpe, Parkes Headquarters & Weddin Headquarters who gave up some of there weekend to assist in completing these hazard reduction burns.
