Stay safe guys and thank you for volunteering to help our northern neighbours.
Our 33 will join with 33 Region South and 34 ACT firefighters to replace 100 NSW firefighters who arrived in QLD last Monday.
We wish them well in their tasking during the next few days where conditions are expected to be challenging with temps in the low 40’s. STL Terry Brill advised they will be working night shift and accommodated in base camps which is apparently what they were hoping for!
