Peak Hill Accident
Published Date: 11 Aug 2019
Summary
About 7.45am on Sunday 11th August 2019, a property owner on the Newell Highway north of Peak Hill discovered a vehicle crashed in one of his paddocks.
Emergency services attended a short time later and located the male driver, still in the vehicle held in by his seatbelt. He was removed from the car with significant injuries. He was taken by road to Dubbo Hospital before being flown out for further treatment. It isn’t known how long the driver had been in the car for before he was located.
It’s a timely reminder to wear your seatbelt and take a break if tired while driving.
