Parkes Fire Services working together

Summary
At 4.30pm on Wednesday 21st March the Parkes RFS brigade was paged to assist Fire Resuce NSW Pump 417 with a car fire that had caught the grass alight.
The road was closed for a short time by Parkes Police and Traffic Control Personnel while firefighters worked on the road to extinguish the fire.
This incident shows that the community of Parkes is in safe hands with both services working very well together assisting each other where we can to protect lives and property.
