Our very own Cameron Bird has been helping out at the Canadian wildfires......a lovely good news story from Canim Lake General Store.
The firefighters came in at 2 pm today and told us they are having a big group dinner tonight, so, Granny Grace along with the staff Dolores and Marla, they got... to work so 15 pies were ready by 5 pm for pick up. We are donating the pies on behalf of the whole community because after all, if you folks didn't support the store we wouldn't be able to donate those pies. So thanks to you all and thanks to the firefighters for all their effort.
