Summary
On a cold & wet Thursday, 3rd April, Far West team took the Commissioner & his staff for a quick trip to Silverton before dawn.
Back to town for a radio interview with ABC and then the last medal presentation of the week began. The rain pr...evented many of our 35 recipients from attending but we will get their medals to them...they were Brendan Cullen (21 yrs service), Lachlan Gall (26yrs), Jenny Lacey (27 yrs), Robert Gibson (28 yrs) Maxine Taplin (29 yrs), John Taplin (29 yrs), Mark O'Connor (29 yrs), Mark Lacey (36yrs), Dorothy Wilhelm (38 yrs), Richard Hindle (39 yrs), Jon Sandow (44 yrs)& David Langford (44 yrs). Albert Lacey was presented with his 60 year medal later that day by Regional Manager Paul Smith.
Congratulations to all medal recipients, a fabulous day and nice to see some much needed rain.
