The Canobolas Zone has received some news tankers for the New Year.
A team of Canobolas Volunteer Fire Fighters travelled to Sydney today arriving back on Tuesday 3rd January with new tankers for the Tallwood, Springside and Cargo Rural Fire Brigades.
With the summer weather really starting to impact the chances are that the new Category 1 tankers could be put straight to work.
These three are the first of six arrivals anticipated in the coming months will see nine brigade tankers upgraded through internal transfers and this will be welcome news to those recipient Brigades.
