Summary
The use of earth moving equipment is a vital tool in controlling bushfires in the Canobolas Zone of the NSW Rural Service.
This was shown with three major bushfires in the Canobolas Zone being contained quickly with ground crews, air support and earth moving equipment all being quickly deployed.
The following video footage was taken during the Shiel Bushfire near Woodstock, Nangar Bushfire near Eugowra and the Long Point Bushfire near the Macquarie River. Some of the vision has been provided by Prime and WIN Television stations.
