Hazard Reduction Notification
Please be advised that on behalf of the Blue Mountains Bush Fire Management Committee (BMBFMC) crews from the NSW Rural Fire Service (RFS) assisted from crews from the National Parks and Wildlife Service (NPWS) and Fire and Rescue NSW (FRNSW) are intending to undertake Hazard Reduction (HR) burning, weather permitting, at the following locations:
Date: Saturday 28th April 2018 & Sunday 29th April 2018
Name of HR: Magdala
Location: Between Bee Farm Avenue and Burns Road Springwood extending South to Glenbrook Creek.
Size: 271.25 hectares
Lead Agency: NSWRFS
Date: Saturday 28th April 2018 & Sunday 29th April 2018
Name of HR: Old Lawson Tip
Location: Ridge Street Lawson
Size: 56.1261 hectares
Lead Agency: NSWRFS
