Our crews have been busy putting in containment lines at Narrow Neck.
Back Burning operations have commenced from Narrow Neck down into the Megalong Valley this morning to put containment lines in on the Ruined Castle fire. Residents in South Katoomba cliff drive area will notice an increase of fire activity and smoke in the area, please be aware of the increase in traffic from fire trucks in the area as well. Please monitor the fires near me app and the NSW RFS website for changing conditions.
