Summary
There will Hazard Reduction burns in the Blaxland, Glenbrook and Lawson area from Friday 17th to Sunday 19th, weather permitting.
Please be advised that on behalf of the Blue Mountains Bush Fire Management Committee (BMBFMC), crews from the NSW Rural Fire Service (RFS) and Fire & Rescue NSW (FRNSW) are intending to undertake Hazard Reduction (HR) burning, weather permitting, at the following locations this week:

Name of HR: Marges and Elizabeth Lookouts
Location: Mitchells Pass Blaxland, Surveyor Abbot Drive, Olive Street and Barnet Street Glenbrook
Size: 22 Hectares
Lead Agency: RFS
Date: Sunday 19 May 2019
Name of HR: UTM Lawson Ridge 2
Location: Lawson Ridge, Blue Mountainsd National Park, 3kn north of Lawson
Size: 3300 Hectares
Lead Agency: NPWS
